Police at Yelahanka New Town station filed an FIR after Food Inspector Savitha exposed illegal LPG storage at Annapoorn Enterprises, owned by Kumaraswamy (aka Pankaj). In a joint raid sparked by Republic Kannada's exposé, authorities seized 114 empty domestic cylinders from the unlicensed godown. Charges were invoked under the Essential Commodities Act for hazardous hoarding without safety permits.

This bust is part of Bengaluru's aggressive drive against cylinder hoarding amid the severe commercial LPG shortage crippling businesses.
