Conan O'Brien (b. 1963) is an American television host, comedian, writer, podcaster, and producer. He is best known for writing in Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons, and hosting late-night talk shows including Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Conan. Known for his spontaneous hosting style, which has been characterized as "awkward, self-deprecating humor", O'Brien's late-night programs combine the "lewd and wacky with more elegant, narrative-driven short films (remotes)"

Tom Snyder (1936 –2007) was an American television personality, news anchor, and radio personality best known for his late night talk shows Tomorrow, on the NBC television network in the 1970s and 1980s, and The Late Late Show, on the CBS Television Network in the 1990s. The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder aired live in the Eastern and Central Time Zones, in 1995 and was simulcast to other time zones on radio to allow everyone a chance to call in. One of the many interviews conducted on The Late Late Show was with Gloria Vanderbilt about her son's suicide, told dramatically over an entire hour. Another was a lengthy interview with Robert Blake very soon before Blake was charged with murder.
