Stop-Motion Transformation of Fans Toys FT-31A Roadking. Pretty amazing how the whole tractor-trailer turns into a robot. Pretty cool how they manage to hide all 18 wheels. Wouldn’t be Fans Toys if it didn’t employ some flimsy little “we swear this isn’t a parts-former” linkages. Will the combiner parts be a separate item? Sure looks like it.

Production Note: Pretty tricky to do those floppy linkages in the lower legs - had to lay the lower leg down but the registration is all over the place. I hope the mechanism is clear enough. Longest one in a while. 956 photographs.
