🕷The NOT SO PRESIDENTIAL Presidential Suite in Samburu Kenya

BUGS IN THE BED! Due to problems with the room we had booked, we were upgraded to the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE at the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge. We were so excited about this complementary upgrade until we realized that the room had not been cleaned for a long time...

But because we are very positive people let's look over the bugs in the bed, curtains and jacuzzi, the dirty floor and damaged bathroom. Let's talk about the good stuff. The Sarova Shaba Game Lodge located inside the Shaba National Reserve here in Samburu, Kenya has one of the nicest pool we have seen (especially if you are visiting this safari resort WITH kids), amazing and dedicated staff and a very good variety of foods. Did I mention that they also have a crocodile viewing area? Because they do which is pretty cool!

And let`s not forget the PIRATE looking bar which we loved! The wood, the lights, the ambiance it`s like behind inside the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride at Disney.

Tracey and I both agree that this was probably just a little bump in the road for the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge as most reviews online are very positive and cleanness never seems to be a concern according to other guests.

Rooms are starting at 17,000 KSH, full board two person sharing but contact them for more accurate rates.
