MOST Dangerous Dinosaurs That Ever Lived!

These are history's most vicious and destructive titanic reptiles to have ever roamed the planet. From a prehistoric crocodile to a shark-mouthed behemoth

#13 Troodon
A relatively small dinosaur hailing from the Cretaceous period, the species known as Troodon roamed the plains of Montana nearly 77 million years ago. This dinosaur is notable for its terrifying, serrated teeth that could just as easily strip the bark off thick vegetation as it could tear flesh from bone. The troodon is thought to have inflicted terrible wounds with its razor-esque mouth, and combined with its surprisingly large brain, this feathered, fierce beast would have been a nightmare for the modern man.
#12 Liopleurodon
One of the most vicious animals to cruise the depths of the open ocean is the legendary Liopleurodon. Though often mistaken as being almost three times its actual length thanks to an exaggerated depiction in the 1999 BBC series Walking with Dinosaurs, the thirty foot long deep sea predator was still a force to be reckoned with. More than 150 million years ago, liopleurodon was the apex predator of Europe, combing low-level waters that covered much of the modern-day continent for prey. Fossil remains of this great beast are few and far between, however one feature of note many researchers agree on is the liopleurodons excellent sense of smell. Forward facing nostrils indicate it most likely filtered water through its nostril to analyze trace chemicals that might lead it to its next lunch.
#11 Ankylosaurus
Coated in knobs and plates of bony armor, the Ankylosaurus is one of the few pure herbivores to make this list. This protruding protection guarded the 66-year-old dinosaur from hunters like Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with its other self-defense mechanism: its thick, club-like tail. With almost sixteen thousand pounds of monstrous force powering it, the tail of the twenty-plus-foot-long ankylosaurus could bash into assailing dinosaurs, shattering bones in the process. Had the ankylosaurus somehow stuck around until modern times, this dinosaur would have been the reptilian equivalent of a wrecking ball. And with a hide capable of resisting the destructive force of carnivorous dinosaurs, humans wouldn’t stand a chance at stopping it!
