A real SCOTTISH EXPERIENCE | Vanlife in Scotland ep.15

This is a real Scottish experience! our first Scottish Bothy night. Van life took us to the Scottish highlands, and we got to discover this beautiful part of Scotland.

As part of our european van life road trip, we simply had to overnight in a bothy once.
This particular bothy is the Duror Bothy and is located in the Glencoe area. The bothy itself is completely isolated, there is no electricity or running water.
The night itself was so calm and relaxing, and the sunset was stunning too.
As a married traveling couple, this experience was the best one we could have imagined!

The way up to the bothy was uphill all the time, but the way back was supposed to be easier...until both our bikes broke down...Luckely for us the weather was fine so we got a nice hike back to the campervan. But bothies Scotland is something you have to stay in if you get the chance.

Living on the road in Europe is such a cool experience, and we could recommend it to anyone who is thinking of doing that!
