If your Zodiac G3 stops moving, there is a very good chance the Diaphragm has a tear in it. Here is how you replace the Diaphragm. This is the most common problem with this cleaner. The diaphragm is the only working part and it is a workhorse. It its what moves the cleaner and gives it that pulsating motion.

Any slight tear will stop the cleaner. If you don't see an obvious tear in the diaphragm check around the clip that holds it on - sometimes the tear is right under that ring. Replacing it is a snap.
