RUSH HOUR at East Midlands Airport - Cargo Arrivals & Departures During Sunset

In late June we made our first trip to East Midlands airport, an airport we've been dying to visit for a number of years. The busiest cargo airport in the UK, East Midlands hosts a wide range of cargo traffic, making it a very unique airport and one that's well worth a visit. A large hub for DHL and with regular UPS and Fedex flights, the evening rush from 6pm-11pm see's dozens of cargo flights arrive from the US and from across Europe.

A stunning summers evening meant for great lighting. A very spotter friendly airport this spotting point at the far end of runway 09 offers great perspective over the runway and DHL apron.
In this part the first wave of cargo flights arrive, starting from 6pm onwards.

Airlines include DHL, UPS, Star Air, ASL, BlueBird, Titan.
