Over the years, these grey langurs (aka. Indian hanuman langur) have developed a unique survival strategy that sees them almost entirely dependent on humans for part of the year. In turn, the local people worship the monkeys as representatives of the Hindu god Hanuman. We explore how this unusual human-animal bond works.
