EXPLORING THE CATSKILL MOUNTAINS 4K || BEAUTY OF UPSTATE NEW YORK IN WINTER || WINTER WORNDERLAND

Three friends, a sudden plan, no roadmap and definitely no point of interest in our minds. We finished work late on a Saturday night and decided to take that much needed break. I just bagged up my photo and video equipment and we hit the road. We even booked our hotel while on the way. The goal was to stay a night in the Catskill Mountains region in Upstate New York (we decided the location just before we booked the hotel).
The weather was acting up too so we didn't really care more about how much video or photos we can capture. The motive was to have a blast. Lots of funny stories that we shared as we stayed awake late into the night.
In the morning we checked out of the hotel and started exploring the area. The major exploration was the Kaaterskill Falls. What a beauty it was. 90% of the fall had frozen over and the whole landscape was something else. We did stop at some other falls, but they were barely accessible due to the snow, ice and bad weather, so video and photo ops weren't many.
We had a blast in these few hours of togetherness and here I am sharing the few moments I've managed to capture.
