Anthony Albanese and Xi Jinping are ‘such good mates’

Sky News contributor Jenna Clarke says it’s a good thing Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is “such good mates” with China’s President Xi Jinping.

Her remarks come as Australia’s interim supermarket review was handed down on Monday.

“Because China will basically be feeding us in the foreseeable future,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“At the end of the day it comes down to our primary producers.

“And our farmers are the ones who are going to be squeezed more and punished more.”
