Interview with Russian political scientist Sergey Karaganov

The Xiangshan Forum gathered military experts and defense ministers from around the world in Beijing for a conference on security issues. On the sidelines of the event, CCTV spoke to Russian political scientist Sergey Karaganov. The world-respected academic is head of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, a security analytical institution. He shared his opinions on the state of Russia's ties with the United States. He also spoke about the Russia-initiated Eurasian network, and how Moscow's pivot to the East is helping to strengthen ties with Beijing.
