Today I would like to take you on a pleasant cross skate trip and tell you all you need to know about the different health benefits of cross skating / skiking.

During this covid pandemic many of us are forced to a more sedentary lifestyle. Swimming pools and gyms are closed in different countries, competitions and races are cancelled, social distancing makes it difficult to train together.

A sedentary lifestyle unfortunately leads to a higher risk of developing diabetes , cardiovascular diseases , cancer etc. So it’s important to get off your coach and start moving! Refering to the recommendations of the American College of Sports Medicine, people should participate in moderate intensity aerobic physical activity for at least 30min on five days a week or at vigorous intensity for 20 min 3 days a week, all together with strength training 2 times a week.
