The Life of Saint the Service Dog | Mobility Service Dog Documentary

There are a lot of things about our four-legged friends that make them special. For most, they are simply a companion but for others, they can be a special destiny for independence and freedom.

Saint the service dog is a mobility service dog for Dr. Jacqui Lowman who teaches Professional Communication and Journalism at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Saint allows Dr. Lowman to live independently--just her and Saint.

Over the past few months, Dr. Lowman's students have been working on a project in their Evolving Media class to capture the voice of Saint and advocate and raise awareness for service dogs by using different facets of social media.
