Badger the Falcon Catches a Grouse

"Badger" the Gyr-Peregrine hyrbid tiercel gets his first shot of the season at grouse, after the two flights before him did not end successfully. He gets his chance over a perfect point by "Scotch" and commits with a 96 mph stoop and a solid "thwack"! He pursues the grouse and catches it in the heavy cover of some tall sage brush. This was the perfect ending to what was shaping up to be a disappointing morning for Steve Chindgren.
