Morel Mushroom Hunting Georgia 2019 - Habitat and Trees to look for

Join me and the family as we go foraging for morel mushrooms here in North Georgia in 2019. In the video I show you what type of habitat I look for when hunting morels as well as the types of trees. Typically here in Georgia, we focus on habitat near creeks that are subject to flood. We like to locate mature ash trees and privet. Almost all of the morels I find are near privet. I've even found morels in privet thickets that are not near water. I also discuss how cold fronts can affect morels that have already fruited.
