Morel Season 2020 Ash Tree ID TIPS and Privet

This is the second morel mushroom video of 2020 from us this season in Georgia. I thought I'd go over some different types of habitats for morel mushrooms along with discussing ash tree characteristics and identification. For those familiar with our morel videos, you know we love looking for dead and dying ash trees near privet hedges. I go over how ash tree have opposing branches and how the ash beetle leaves bore holes along the bark. I hope this video helps you find your very own morels this season.
