Eco India: Over 1,000 hectares of Mumbai's mangroves are fiercely guarded by a fishing community

Our top story this week looks systematic efforts by a fishing community from Mumbai's Bhandup village to conserve the mangrove wetlands in the stretch from Airoli bridge to Vikhroli, thereby protecting the city from the ocean’s swell.
