2012 Artists In Music Awards Winner - Stevie Hawkins - Best Jazz Artist

Stevie Hawkins is the winner for "Best Jazz Artist" in the 2012 Artists In Music Awards. He was nominated "Best Blues Artist" in the 2012 Artists In Music Awards. Hawkins and his label are extremely excited about the news.

The songs in this video are by Stevie Hawkins - "Jack Of All Trades" from his High Time CD, and "Spirit Of The Butterfly" from his What The Funk? CD.

The Artists In Music Awards ceremony will took place on Friday, February 10th, 2012, just two days before the Grammys. The event was hosted at the famous "Key Club" located on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. The Red Carpet event began at 7:00pm where nominees were introduced and interviewed on the Red Carpet by members of the media and press.

Stevie Hawkins career span covers a lot of ground to include playing drums for recording artists John Lee Hooker, Percy Sledge, Rufus Thomas, Albert King, Willie Hill, Harvey Scales, Chuck Berry, Chubby Checker, Daryle Singletary, Razzy Bailey, Bertie Higgins, Johnny Rodriguez, Doug Stone, The Ink Spots among others.
