Exploring Mojave National Preserve, Dublin Gulch Cave Dwellings, Cemetery, Alien Jerky, & Lava Tubes

Spring Break Road Trip, Day 5, April 5th, 2022.
On our 8 day & over 2200 mile mega road trip we finally leave Death Valley National Park where we had spent 3 days exploring the many trails and sites within the park. We decided to escape the heat of the desert and head underground. In this video we make our way toward Joshua Tree National Park. On our way we visited subterranean sites along the way including the cave dwellings of Dublin Gulch and the lava tubes of the Mojave National Preserve. We also found a fun stop at an Alien Jerky store and visited the largest thermometer in the world. Before leaving the Mojave National Preserve we had a quick stop at Kelso Depot and Kelso Dune. No dune hiking this day. We just admired the tallest Dune in the Mojave. Enjoy!
