Why have we brought out the Condensate pro Combination Kit 2 ??
Following the Boiler Manufacturer’s Instructions, many are now asking for the insulation to be taken all the way through the fabric of the wall.
This means we can no longer use a PipeSnug to seal to the wall as the hole needs to be 65mm to take the insulation, so we had to make sure that our kits could be used on all installations and comply with all Boiler Manufacturers Instructions. We also provide more of our Bond & Seal to seal the hole through the wall.
Our Condensate pro Combination Kit 2 has replaced the PipeSnug with a larger 150g tube of Bond & Seal that can be used in a mastic gun.
Everything else remains the same and helps installers provide the very best condensate protection when the next winter comes, so customers' condensates don’t freeze and they have heating when they most need it.
As we saw in February 2018 when the ‘Beast from the east’ hit for over 2 weeks, hundreds of thousands of boilers stopped working because the condensate pipe was not protected correctly and froze.
In 2021, again we had a countrywide freeze which only lasted for a few days, but still affected many thousands of homes.

Customers and homeowners will not know they’re not protected correctly until its too late.
Now, with gas prices going up and up, making sure your boiler is working as efficiently as possible on a low temperature is vital to make the boiler / system as efficient as it can be. This will mean your boiler will produce more condensate water and will be at risk of freezing if not correctly protected.
This is why we wanted to help installers protect their customers with quality products that provide the very best condensate protection and last the life time of the boiler and more.
