Resident found deceased after house explosion in Cache County

A person who was unaccounted for after a house explosion in Cache County has been found deceased, authorities said.

Two others were transported in critical condition.

According to Lt. Mikelshan Bartschi with Cache County Sheriff’s Office, a person passing by saw a house fire at approximately 6 p.m. Thursday, March 9, near 5630 N. State Route 23 in Cache Junction, and immediately called for help.
