Na de Eerste Wereldoorlog braken er in Centraal en Oost-Europe oorlogen uit tussen nieuwe staten alsmede burgeroorlogen binnen staten. In deze video volgt een overzicht van het roerige interbellum waarin de periode 1917 - 1924 wordt behandeld. In deze video leer je over de Duitse Revolutie, de Spartacusopstand, de Freikorpsen, alsmede de Hongaarse Radenrepubliek, de Hongaars-Roemeense Oorlog, de Pools-Oekraïense Oorlog en de Pools-Russische Oorlog waarbij de nieuw gestichte Poolse staat het opnam tegen het Rode Leger dat vocht voor de nieuwe Sovjetstaat geleid door Vladimir Lenin.
