The kit is discontinued: palladium is expected to increase in price by at least 50% over 2021 to 2023 or so. It will shortly be more expensive than gold, platinum, and iridium with the result that interest in printing with the noble metals is probably going to evaporate: nobody will be able to afford the metals any longer.As of May 1 2021, palladium is about $2,900 an ounce, which is about $94 USD a gram; gold is about $58 USD a gram, and my beloved iridium $200 USD a gram and rhodium $935 USD a gram. Platinum is a bargain at a mere $1200 an ounce... Soon, those wishing to print in metals will resort to I think nickel. I have a formula for that ...But printing with the nobles, well, in 1880 or so, in their book on printing out platinum, Pizzighelli and von Hubel commented that palladium and iridium were so expensive (as compared to platinum and gold) that nobody was trying to print with them. I think we are just about at the point at which nobody is going to print with gold, iridium, platinum, silver, or palladium. I expect to sell my stockpile of palladium at a nice profit in the fall of 2021 or spring of 2022.
If I get around to making any new videos, I may do so for nickel, which is permanent, clean, grayscale with a wide tonal range, and costs no more to print than one of those awful cyanotypes.

All processes are dry print out and leave the "Keepers of the Light" hydrated paper processes in the dollar-choked dust of the 19th century. Mix the metal salt with the magic iron, brush (not glass coating rod -- read Willis's 3rd platinum application) it onto your paper right out of its package, let it dry in the dark and print out a complete and beautiful image.
