Dinner, drinks, yelling, and laughter for Governor Newsom and a lockdown curfew for the rest of us!

California Governor Gavin Newsom enjoys dinner and cocktails with powerful lobbyists in the medical field at The French Laundry restaurant days before ordering the entire State of California to abide by a curfew on the way to a lockdown.

The dinner was remarkable for many reasons. A setting at The French Laundry costs hundreds of dollars, not including the signature cocktails, noteworthy bottles of wine, or rule violating number of guests at the private table. The table was obtrusively loud, so much so that the doors to the private room were closed so as to not offend the other guests. It has been reported that guests of the table have a vested interest in medical provisions, which benefit from the coronavirus and ongoing fear of the rarely fatal virus.

The dinner was in violation of the rules he put in place for the rest of the State, but they clearly did not apply to him. The Governor apologized during a press conference later, but did so while presenting more justifications for his attendance than remorse. California now faces a 10pm curfew, which may work its way to a full lockdown soon.

Californians, and the rest of the nation, are questioning his 'leadership' and hypocrisy as the show goes on.
