A subscriber asked so a quick short today on Spirit Airlines. I believe that SA is projected to see revenues reach 2019 peak by mid next year. The current TSA traffic trends and vaccines support a traffic rebound. The airline is poised to top a $3+ EPS in 2022 making the stock cheap here. I questioned whether Spirit had enough liquidity to make it till 2022. The answer is yes. The company boosted its cash to $2.1 billion through debt and equity. With a daily cash burn of $2.3 million, this gives the company room to survive the next 1-2 years in case the travel situation does not improve. With that said, the key risks is a slow roll-out of the vaccine, continued lockdowns, and a general hesitancy to travel.
