How to diagnose and fix HID headlights

Diagnosing HID headlights are more complex then the standard halogen bulbs. Even if you don’t have a BMW 1 series, the process is very similar. Not all cars require the bumper or headlights to be removed to access the HID controller.

⚠️ Warning ⚠️ HID systems use high voltage so please refer to your owner’s manual before handling any components in your HID system.
