Sailing in the Scottish Hebrides Coll, Mull, Ulva and the Treshnish Islands.
This is a video log of the trip we made in the summer of 2017. We left our base at Inverkip Marina, went through the Crinan Canal. Then we sailed up the Sound of Mull and out to the Isle of Coll. From Coll we visited the Treshnish Islands, Ulva and Gometra before visiting the village of Bun-Eassain. Here we sat out a gale before sailing through the Sound of Iona and back to Crinan. The music is sampled from Gakicia Revisited by the superb Ceolbeg, and Lexymacakill by the incredible Peatbog Fairies. I have also used part of Jonathan Lewis' excellent Uke cover of Bittersweet symphony. I don't own this music. I do love it and share it now so that it is more widely appreciated. In a similar way and within the spirit of youtube, I am happy for anyone to use the visual track of this film for their own purposes.
