Trailer for a feature documentary film being released in summer 2014. It examines one of the world's most beautiful coral kingdoms, set in the midst of Palau's stunning tropical islands and amazing marine life.
Visitors come to Palau in search of serenity, adventure, and encounters with wilderness. But what they find is more amazing, and more troubling, than anything described in their travel guides. Covered in rippling waves and sand is a tangled legacy of blood and coral.

On this tiny island of Peleliu, nearly thirteen thousand men died fighting in one of the most horrifying battles of World War II. The story of this battle is a tale of miscalculation and slaughter, but as we shall see, it did not end on the shores of Peleliu.

A second battle is now underway on the reefs offshore. Today's battle is also part of a global conflict, but unlike previous world wars, the invading forces are largely invisible. Their weapons are greenhouse gases, oil spills, overzealous fishing fleets, and the most powerful typhoons in recorded history. The defending forces are people committed to the preservation of earth's most magnificent living treasure: coral reef ecosystems.
