Sudsy ‘Sea Foam’ Coats Resort Beach

It was a sudsy day at the beach for swimmers in Argentina. A huge ocean-front stretch of the resort at Mar del Plata was covered in sea foam. Also known as spume, sea foam is a natural phenomenon that happens when organic matter, like seaweed and algae, is tossed by wind and waves. It creates a whipped-cream like substance. Important to note, it’s not toxic. The foam reportedly smelled a little fishy, but no one seemed to mind. #InsideEdition
