Crown Lift Trucks Automotive Technician Vince Martinez Talks Universal Technical Institute

Vince Martinez has been interested in cars his whole life. He took automotive classes in high school, which is where he learned about Universal Technical Institute (UTI). After researching UTI, he decided to enroll in the Automotive Technology program at UTI.

Vince then went on to complete the Ford Accelerated Credential Training (FACT) program, where he
learned a lot about electrical diagnosis. Vince says the FACT classes have helped him in his current career at Crown Lift Trucks, as they have prepared him for the electrical problems he comes across today.

Part of what attracted Vince to Crown was the benefits the employer offered and the training that's required. Vince says he often hears about auto tech voids where he lives in New Jersey. UTI provides the training and knowledge students need to fill those voids and take advantage of available opportunities.

Vince says if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. That's exactly what he’s doing as an auto technician at Crown.
