Johnny Winter amazed audiences all over the world with his blazing style on guitar, but he's been largely ignored by online guitar instructors, (except for a few lessons here or there).

Most instructors (myself included) have focused on more recognizable names like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, or the Three Kings of the blues.

But none of those guys played like Johnny Winter. As a result, you could study everyone else for decades, and still not be able to play like him.

In fact, I did exactly that. I've been studying Stevie Ray Vaughan's playing for 20 years, and I've done deep-dive courses on all of the players mentioned above. But after all of that, I STILL couldn't play a solo quite like Johnny Winter.

It wasn't the speed, or complicated picking. It was his timing, his phrasing, and his unique repetition of licks. It all felt so strange. So I decided to do something about it.

I picked the songs "Hustled Down In Texas" and "Got My Mojo Workin" and I began studying. During that period of studying I learned so many small licks and tricks that were unique to his style. It really changed my playing for the better.

So I took the best solos from several songs and combined them into one massive 60-bar blues solo and created this course. I'll teach you this entire solo, one lick at a time. No confusing theory, just down-to-earth teaching for blues guitar slingers in training.
