New Taipei’s Hohaiyan Rock Festival takes place this weekend

The annual Hohaiyan Rock Festival at New Taipei’s Fulong Beach will take place from Friday to Sunday (July 19-21). Celebrating its 21st year, the free outdoor concert will feature up-and-coming rock bands, with 10 competing for the Ocean Independent Music Awards on Saturday. The festival also showcases Taiwan’s Northeast Coast, offering ocean views and white-sand beaches. Additional attractions include an outdoor market with food and drinks, and themed installations like Live Action Role Playing (LARP) booths.
