Spring is the time for beautiful, soft color palettes and tons of flowers! I absolutely adore Among the Wildflowers by The 3 Girls Tale because it is the quintessential spring collection.

For my first project with this collection, I wanted to create a beautifully layered mixed media canvas created to look like a little spring season view through a window. I started by covering my canvas in torn and layered 12x12 papers.

Then I built up my little window view using several moulds from the collection and Redesign with Prima. They were all painted with the Pastel Dreams watercolor palette—which is a perfect match for Among the Wildflowers.

I of course tucked a bunch of flowers in and added some of the little vellum ephemera bees. I glued two bees together and bent the wings up gently to create a more realistic look.
