Plasmon-Coupled Organic Light-Emitting Diode (PCOLED)

Plasmon-coupled Organic Light-Emitting Diode (PCOLED), a longer-life OLED technology, solves the problem of short lifespan of the OLED blue light component. PCOLED increases the efficiency and lifespan of OLED displays and lamps up to 300,000 hours, or up to 27-fold. PCOLED meets all researcher requirements for achieving good color rendering index, high energy efficiency and low cost to create commercially viable OLED lighting products.
