LINEAR FORCE SYSTEM # BASIC BIOMECHANICS
Detailed lecture on the linear force system, what are linear forces, what is linear force system and how to find the resultant of linear forces. When two or more forces acting on a same segment are in same line thats collinear and same plane thats coplanar then the forces are said to be part of linear force system.
The main characteristic of linear force system are the forces are:
1. Collinear
2. Coplanar
3. Acts on same segment
4. When extended they overlap each other.
Further the forces in linear force system are assigined +ve and -ve values according to the direction of forces.
The resultant of the linear force system is just the arthimatic sum of the forces.
