OSTEO & ARTHOKINEMATICS OF JOINTS #GLIDE| ROLL| SPIN
Detailed discussion on Osteo and Arthokinematics on human joint movements. Both osteo and arthokinematics are crucial movements that happens during human motions or functional tasks.Osteokinematics are the movement of bony lever as a whole were as arthokinematics are movements within the joint or either arthokinematics are intrarticular or accessory movements. Osteokinematics movements involves flexion extension, abduction adduction, internal external rotation etc.
Arthokinematic movements involves Roll, Glide or Slide and Spin. This movements happens inside joint cavoty or between articular surfaces and hence are not visible generally.Understand how Roll or glide ot Spin takes places through this simplified lecture.
