AFL pushed to overhaul illicit drug policy by Sports Integrity Australia

A report from The Herald Sun has revealed Sports Integrity Australia is pushing for the AFL to overhaul its contentious illicit drug policy, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“This week they (SIA) recommended an immediate overhaul of the AFL’s illicit drug policy,” Ms Panahi said.

“Which allows players to avoid drug strikes and undergo off-the-books testing under what they call a ‘medical model’.”
