A Young Wedge-tailed Eagle.

On my way home from work a couple of days ago, I went past a young Wedgetailed Eagle on the ground beside the road. I did a U-ie and edged closer and closer in my car until I was about 15 metres away from it. Normally, they don't let you get even half as close as this, but it wasn't fussed. Unfortunately, the light had really dropped by the time I got close, but I was able to rest my DSLR on my mirror and take some footage. It was pretty windy, so I switched the audio off. It had jumped up into a gum tree, but was still only about 3 metres off the ground.
