DIY Wine & Beer Rack
How to build a DIY wind and beer rack. Yep, that's simple and easy.
Aside from those who have a dedicated wine cellar or fridge, everyone needs a good wine rack to store and showcase
their favorite alcoholic beverages. This is a simple design that you can build and install yourself. Simple yes, but it still
has a classic look that makes for great decor even if you do not indulge. I have a pair of Kansas City Chiefs beer
glasses that I have paired with a couple vintage looking alcoholic root beer bottles for one side of this wine and beer rack.
The other side I've made a shelves to hang wine glasses and store wine bottles on their sides. If your vino lasts long enough
for that to matter. To finish the project I used an ancient Japanese wood preservation technique called Shou Sugi Ban. By
using a propane torch to burn and char the wood, you not only help preserve the project but it also lends a very beautiful
rustic look that makes it a great piece for any dinning room or lounge.
