How to Make a DIY Crystal and Wire Hoops by Denise Mathew

Here's another project for DIY wire-wrapped Crystal jewelry. This tutorial teaches you how to create crystal and wire hoops that can be used for earrings, pendants or charms. With just crystals and wire and a little patience you can have your own unique accessories that are tailored to your personality. This simple project is easy to do and has a lot of versatility. You need very little wire wrapping skills and minimal tools. So let's get started!
For the hoop in the tutorial I used, 13, 1 mm pink seed pearls, 11, 4mm purple bicone crystals, 17, 4 mm clear AB bicone crystals and about 1 foot, 26 gauge wire. The finished hoop is 1 inch x 1 inch. For the other hoop I used 13, 1 mm seed pearls, 11, pink 4 mm bicones and 17, clear AB 4 mm bicones. For the larger hoop that measures 1 1/2 inch x 1 1/2 inches I used 18, 1 mm seed pearls and 41, 4 mm bicones and 1,7mmx5mm faceted sleeping beauty turquoise briolette and 1 1/2 foot of 26 gauge wire.

This project is adapted from a design by Giorgia Scardini, here's her website if you want to check it out
