Hundreds of such baby elephants get separated from their herd every year, and its the duty of the wildlife department officers to be the parents to these baby elephants till they are old enough.
This sweet baby elephant is in trouble and has an injured trunk. To make this scene worse, it is left behind by the herd. The wildlife department officers came to the rescue. Baby is hungry and kept asking for milk as it's new to these techniques of being fed.
