Meiji shrine the most famous shrine in Japan(明治神宮でお団子食べすぎた)

Today I visited the Meiji Shrine.
The shrine is located right next to Harajuku station and is easily accessible.

Meiji Shrine is dedicated to Emperor Meiji and his wife.
Emperor Meiji was the 122nd emperor of Japan.
The shrine was built in 1920 at the request of the people of the time, who strongly admired Emperor Meiji.
The wishes of Emperor Meiji and the people of Japan for world peace and national prosperity are embodied here.
The year of the 2020 Olympics was also the 100th anniversary of the building.
On New Year's Day, the temple attracts the largest number of worshippers in Japan.
The trees here are all man-made, and 100,000 trees were collected from all over Japan to build the Meiji Shrine.

The opening and closing times of Meiji Shrine are from sunrise to sunset, and vary depending on the month. In summer, the gates open at 5:00 a.m. and close after 6:00 p.m. In winter, the gates open before 7:00 a.m. and close after 4:00 p.m.

Meiji Jingu Shrine is dedicated to health and longevity.
It is also beneficial for various other things such as love and safe childbirth.
