‘Always Remember Us This Way’ by Lady Gaga was produced and recorded for the 2018 remake of the ‘A Star is Born’ which featured Gaga and Bradley Cooper. In the movie, Gaga, who plays rising star Ally, sings this slow ballad at the end of a concert.

‘Always Remember Us This Way’ was written at a Nashville camp hosted by Gaga and famed producer, David Cobb. Gaga wrote the track with Natalie Hemby whose other credits include Lady Antebellum's ‘Downtown’.

Anther songwriter on this track is Lori McKenna who won consecutive ‘Best Country Song Grammy Awards’ for Little Big Town's ‘Girl Crush’ (2016) and Tim McGraw's ‘Humble and Kind’ (2017). A final songwriter on ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ was Hillary Lindsey who also co-penned ‘Girl Crush’. Lindsay has collaborated with Lady Gaga before, such as on her single, ‘Million Reasons’.
