What are the things that Swedish people just simply hate? And what are the things Swedes just do not like and will drive them crazy? In this video, I dig a bit deeper into some of the topics and subjects I've seen turn the conversation south here in Sweden. The Top 5 Things Swedish People Hate (from my experience):
1. Not paying you back immediately - whether its a coffee, a fika or a drink out in the local bar, expect to get your money back directly on Swish!
2. When you make mistakes - check any of my videos. If you misquote the alcohol percentage you can buy in a normal supermarket or the amount of weeks you can have back-to-back in the summer, some Swedes want to correct you directly!
3. Stereotypes - its dark everywhere, everyone is blonde with blue eyes and polar bears are running around the streets. Come on guys!!
4. When people confuse Sweden for Switzerland - you're in Stockholm, not Bern! They're not even in the same area of Europe!
5. When people ask about the taxes - especially when you comment on how high taxes are in Sweden! Watch out, its a risky subject!
