Optoma HZ39HDR VS Epson 3800 - Prometheus SDR

Heads Up - Optoma does not flicker as the camera is picking up the wheel
Rainbow effect is about the same level of appearance as the PX747 that I've reviewed
Definitely more rainbows than an LED based to my eyes though

The color saturation is pretty good but the focus is where the heightened blacks and the lack of contrast make the Optoma difficult to wrangle. Nonetheless this is not 100% a fair fight as the Optoma is laser vs bulb based and 1080p vs 4k e-shifted 1080p. The Optoma aims to fill a ~$1000 price segment I believe and this would be the proper selling point VS $1500 class where you would ask for e-shift.
