2022 PSO Canada - Artistic L5 - 1st Place

Here's my Exotic/Artistic Level 5 routine from Pole Sport Org Championships! I’m really proud of myself for turning my vision into reality for this piece; from the song mash-up I mostly mixed myself on a video editing app, to the outfit changes and tear-away pants I had to get custom-made, and the grippy thigh highs with kneepads that I had to design myself and am now turning into a whole product launch with my own brand. 😋 It’s been an exciting couple of months training for this.💖

This is such a fast-paced routine with very little breathing room – when I initially started working on it I wasn’t even able to go through the first half without feeling lightheaded and nauseous. Honestly, I’m shocked I managed to pull all of this off, especially after injuring my leg 3 mins into my routine. I actually ended up sleeping in the ER and needing crutches for a few days after this performance. Thankfully, my leg fully recovered within 3 weeks and although I had to improvise 20 seconds of my choreography, I still completed my last spin combo with no visible mistakes and ended up in first place.🥹
