Tesla Terafactory Texas Update #123 in 4K: New Parking New Traffic - 03/16/21 (4:00pm | 78°F)

Welcome back guys, it’s Randy! Today’s video confirms the major questions about the new area we saw being set up for what we all thought was maybe a new parking lot for the workers. Unfortunately, it’s brought along some new traffic challenges as well which will most likely take a few days to figure out.

Here are today’s key takeaways:
- On the perimeter path on the east side headed south, we see more of the stormwater management system pipe still being installed and can see just how large they are given the workers right next to them. We even see that one of the workers walks inside of it in the footage!
- The south end shows the wall panel installation progress and the east facing side is almost completely filled in! on the west side of the structure, we see a semi backed into the opening with what looks to be a huge wooden crate on the trailer that workers are tending to inside of the structure.
- The northwestern corner shows the perimeter grade beam is having formwork done on the wall and rebar placed in the section reaching the northern edge. We also see that they have in fact made the turn and are digging the angled wall section of the perimeter beam. I somehow missed getting a closer look at this, but they also poured mud slabs inside of the pit to the right along the outer edges on each side. I’ll be sure to get a better look tomorrow!
- The paint shop from the eastern side, shows more TKS components in the area where the concrete panels are being installed and that the installation of those panels are speeding along quickly, as you can see most of the eastern wall is up and through the roof.
- The switchyard shows the trench leading towards the conduit being laid near the powerlines being dug. We also see that several poles have been erected and that process is still actively underway.
- The large area we speculated about being for parking yesterday was actually used for that exact purpose today. Quad Squad member Jack, who runs the Texas Terafactory channel, captured some insane footage of the traffic jam this morning trying to get into the site during shift change. I’ll leave a link to his video in the description. It’s just a little before 4:30pm in this footage and we can see the first wave of workers leaving the site to avoid traffic, but it will more than likely take several days for them to smooth out this traffic issue.
