The documentary focus on the recollections of a series of incidents by Sue Neil (Uudam's biological sister). Both Sue Neil and her uncle (father's younger brother) were being interviewed. There were glimpse of Uudam's parents' photos and photos of baby Sue Neil and Uudam.
Sue Neil's family of 4 resides at the Hunlun Buir grassland. Both parents earned a living for the family as labourer. Sue Neil works hard on her studies and younger brother, Uudam sings very well and was recruited into the Five Colours Children choir. The family lead a humble and tranquil life.
In 2009, her mother make a trip to the city to visit little uudam who was studying at the primary school. On her way back, the car she was in over-turned while travelling on high speed. Her mother suffered serious injury and was paralysed from the neck downwards to the rest of the body. As a result, Sue Neil & Uudam tended to her every needs while father worked harder to earn more money and took up loans to pay for the medical fees. All for the hope of the mother's recovery. However, her mother passed away after persevering for 1 year.
Now with the father being the only bread-winner for the family, he works even harder to ensure that the children can continue their studies and to pay off the outstanding loans. On one evening of year 2010, he went over to client's place to provide sheep shearing service. On his way back that night, he was provided with a motorcycle with faulty chains. The faulty chain give way halfway and the motorcycle lose control and crashed. His head was badly hit in the accident and diagnosed with brain internal blooding. Doctors advised that he is no longer suitable for any laborious work. However, after only a short period of rest, he insisted on resuming his work so that the children daily needs can be met. In 2011, her father once again over-worked and fell due to exhaustion. The impact on the head caused another brain internal blooding and resulted in his death.
Having lost both parents within a period of 2 years, the children grew into depression and despair. Sue Neil thought of quitting school to start work so as to subsidise Uudam's school fees. Their uncle adopted them and prevented her action, supported both of them on their studies. Finally, Sue Neil made it to the University of Hunlun Buir. Under the scholarships from the schools and subsidies for orphans from the government, the siblings were able to continue their studies and live on. The subsidies have also helped to lighten the financial burden on their uncle.
With all the help from the government, schools and relatives, Sue Neil slowly became cheerful again. Under the tutoring of Mr & Mrs Buren, Uudam's singing ability also improved by the days. He was later selected to take part in the "China's Got Talent Show" and move onwards to a bright and hopeful future.
