Man there’s only so many ways you can do a leg extension ie create leg drive when laying down on the bench. And as far as I can tell there’s only one way.

It’s the exact same cue no matter how you set up. Heels down, heels up, squeezing the bench, not squeezing the bench, etc

To create leg drive all you do is mimic a leg extension. Driving the heels down and leg extending so the pressure is horizontal not perpendicular with the floor.

You should feel this in your quads. They should be flexing hard.

Squeezing your glutes, and pushing up from your toes is only going to bring your butt off the bench.
